BTS’s smash hit “Dynamite” has ranked 34th on Apple Music’s list of the 500 most-streamed songs over the past decade, marking the highest placement for a K-pop song.

Apple Music released the list on July 7 to commemorate the platform’s 10th anniversary. Among Korean artists, BTS and BLACKPINK’s Rosé made notable entries.

In addition to “Dynamite,” BTS’s “Butter” also made the chart at No. 252. “Dynamite” was the first K-pop track to break into the Top 5 of Apple Music’s “Today’s Top 100: Global” chart when it was released in 2020 — a feat “Butter” replicated seven months later.

Rosé’s collaboration with American pop star Bruno Mars, titled “APT.,” landed at No. 459, making it the most recent release on the list. Known for its catchy rhythm, “APT.” held the No. 1 spot on the Global Top 100 for over 60 consecutive days, a record ranking among the top five longest runs in Apple Music’s history.

The No. 1 spot went to Ed Sheeran’s 2017 hit “Shape of You,” which broke records for most global streams on its release day and went on to top pop charts in at least one country for over 1,800 days, and all-genre charts for more than 1,000 days. Sheeran had a total of 11 tracks on the Top 500 list.

Drake had the most entries overall, with 27 songs on the chart. Taylor Swift followed with 14, while The Weeknd, Billie Eilish, and Kendrick Lamar each had nine. Mariah Carey’s holiday classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You” was the only seasonal track to make the Top 100. Queen’s 1975 hit “Bohemian Rhapsody” was the oldest song to appear on the list.
