Oh Gwang-soo, senior presidential secretary for civil affairs, has tendered his resignation to President Lee Jae-myung, according to sources in the presidential office and political circles on June 13.

If President Lee accepts the resignation, it would mark the first high-level departure within the new administration.

Oh, who was appointed just recently, has faced allegations of managing real estate assets and loans under borrowed names. His resignation comes amid mounting scrutiny over these claims.
