Kai Trump, granddaughter of U.S. President Donald Trump, made a notable appearance at the CJ-sponsored PGA Tour event, drawing attention from organizers and attendees alike. The 17-year-old expressed a strong interest in Korean cosmetics and food.

On May 1 (local time), Kai visited TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas, where the PGA Tour’s "The CJ Cup Byron Nelson" was underway. She is the eldest daughter of Donald Trump Jr., the president's eldest son.

A high school golf athlete, Kai is set to enroll at the University of Miami this fall as a golf scholarship student. In addition to her golf pursuits, she is a social media influencer with over one million followers.

Invited by CJ Group, Kai observed rounds by world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and former top-ranked Jordan Spieth. She reportedly met Scheffler after his round to exchange greetings.

She also toured "House of CJ," a cultural showcase organized by CJ featuring Korean food, cosmetics, film, and pop music. According to CJ, Kai showed particular enthusiasm for Korean cuisine and beauty products.

She sampled Bibigo dumplings and even encouraged her aide to try on cosmetics at the Olive Young booth. Notably, she showed keen interest in Korean sunscreen, a staple for a golf hopeful exposed to long hours outdoors. CJ noted that she praised the Korean products on display, calling them “the best in the world.”
