The crime action film Yadang: The Snitch dominated theaters for the second consecutive weekend.

According to data from the Korean Box Office Information System on April 28, Yadang: The Snitch drew 521,459 moviegoers from April 25 to 27, maintaining its No. 1 position at the weekend box office for the second straight week. Since its release on April 16, the film has attracted a cumulative audience of 1,636,933.

The title Yadang is a slang term referring to a drug broker who secretly acts as an informant for law enforcement while working within the criminal underworld. Kang Ha-neul stars as Lee Kang-soo, a character who moves between prosecutors and drug rings like a bat. Yoo Hae-jin plays ambitious prosecutor Goo Kwan-hee, and Park Hae-joon portrays the relentless detective Oh Sang-jae. Directed by Hwang Byung-guk, known for Wedding Campaign and The S.I.U., the film is noted for its lively and rhythmic direction that highlights the actors' performances.

Meanwhile, Minecraft: The Movie, a film adaptation of the popular video game, followed in second place with 341,859 viewers. The Match, starring Lee Byung-hun, attracted 55,264 viewers but dropped one spot to third place compared to the previous weekend.

In addition, Conclave, a film depicting the intense political maneuvering among cardinals during the election of a new pope, climbed nine spots to rank sixth, drawing 14,081 viewers over the weekend. Benefiting from the somber mood following the passing of Pope Francis, the film has entered a resurgence at the box office. Since its release on March 5, Conclave has accumulated a total of 295,382 viewers as of April 27.
