Singer BoA has issued an apology following controversy over her appearance on a recent social media live broadcast with television host Jun Hyun-moo, during which she appeared intoxicated.
On April 7, BoA posted a statement on the Weverse fan community, expressing regret for her "careless behavior and remarks." BoA also addressed her fans, saying, "I apologize to the fans who have supported me for a long time. I will reflect on my actions and strive to show a more mature side in the future."
The incident occurred on the night of April 5, when BoA made an unplanned appearance during Jun Hyun-moo's live broadcast on social media. She appeared to be under the influence of alcohol, displayed physical closeness with Jun, and made comments about his rumored relationship with Park Na-rae, stating, "Oppa (Jun Hyun-moo) is too good for her." Additionally, she used language that some viewers found inappropriate, leading to public criticism.
