The upcoming presidential election in South Korea is expected to be scheduled for Tuesday, June 3.
According to government sources on April 7, this proposal will be presented at the regular cabinet meeting on April 8 for confirmation and official announcement.
While there is no legal requirement for the election date to be approved through a cabinet meeting, the significance of the matter warrants such a procedure. June 3 is anticipated to be designated as a public holiday to facilitate voting.
