Popular girl group NewJeans has changed their name to NJZ in the midst of their dispute with their label, ADOR.

On February 7, the girl group announced the news via their social media account, along with their upcoming concert “Complex Live” at the three-day ComplexCon Hong Kong in March, where the members will debut a new song.

Previously, NJZ announced the termination of their exclusive contract with ADOR in November last year due to the agency’s failure to fulfill its obligations. Since then, they have been working independently.

"We are very excited to step onto the stage for the first time as NJZ and show everyone our new image. This performance is a very important moment, and we have been eagerly waiting to share the new music we've wanted to present to our global fans," leader Minji said.
