Beyoncé has won “Album of the Year” for the first time at the 67th Grammy Awards.

The American pop star received the ‘Album of the Year’ award for her 8th studio album, “Cowboy Carter,” at the 67th Grammy Awards held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, USA.

Despite winning a remarkable 32 Grammy Awards up until last year, Beyoncé had never won the 'Album of the Year' award, which had been a blow to her pride. Last year, her husband, Jay-Z, who received the 'Dr. Dre Global Impact' award at the ceremony, criticized the organizers, stating, "It doesn't make sense that she (Beyoncé) has the most Grammy trophies and yet has never won 'Album of the Year.'"

Meanwhile, Beyoncé also won the Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Country Album, and Best Country Duo/Group Performance awards for "Cowboy Carter." Notably, she is the first Black artist to receive the Best Country Album award since the category was introduced in 1964.

Additionally, acclaimed rapper Kendrick Lamar swept major categories with his album "Not Like Us," winning both the Record of the Year and Song of the Year awards. The Best New Artist award went to Chapel Ron.
