Park Seo-joon confirmed for JTBC romance drama

Actor Park Seo-joon will star as an entertainment reporter in JTBC’s upcoming drama “Waiting for Gyeongdo” (literal title), the production team said on Monday.

“Waiting for Gyeongdo” is a new rom-com drama about former lovers Lee Gyeong-do and Seo Ji-woo, who first met and fell in love at the age of twenty. They unexpectedly cross paths again at an unforeseen moment in their lives.

Park Seo-joon will play Lee Gyeong-do, an entertainment reporter for Dongwoon Ilbo. He is a relatable office worker with grounded personality. His life takes a chaotic turn when he reconnects with his ex-girlfriend Seo Ji-woo after her husband becomes involved in a cheating scandal.

“Waiting for Gyeongdo” will be directed by Lim Hyun-wook, known for “King the Land,” “Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency,” and “Life.”
