Yoo Ah-in denies sexual assault allegations against man

Actor Yoo Ah-in’s side has denied allegations of sexually assaulting a man, stating that the claims are groundless.

On July 26, lawyer Bang Jung-hyun, Yoo’s legal representative, issued an official statement regarding the lawsuit filed against the actor. “We clarify that the allegations in the complaint are not true,” Bang said. “Please refrain from unnecessary speculation about Yoo’s private life.”

According to the Seoul Yongsan Police Station, the complainant identified as Mr. A alleged that Yoo sexually assaulted him while he was asleep in an officetel on July 14. It is reported that other men were present at the scene.

Meanwhile, Yoo is also facing trial for habitual use of medical propofol under the guise of sleep anesthesia for cosmetic procedures.
