“SuperStar K2” contestant singer Park Bo-ram passes away

Singer Park Bo-ram passed away at the age of 30 on April 11.

On April 12, Park Bo-ram’s agency XANADU Entertainment confirmed the news. “We have come to share the heartbreaking news. Park Bo-ram suddenly passed away on Thursday,” the agency said. “We kindly ask that you refrain from making speculative reports so that the bereaved family and colleagues can mourn the deceased in peace. The funeral arrangements will be made in consultation with the bereaved family.”

The police are currently investigating the cause of the singer’s death.

Park Bo-ram gained attention when she appeared on Mnet’s “SuperStar K2” in 2010. She made her official solo debut in 2014 with the track “Beautiful.”
