BOYNEXTDOOR’s agency apologized for the recent security incident involving the excessive behavior of the group’s bodyguards.

On December 19, BOYNEXTDOOR’s agency KOZ Entertainment officially issued an apology on Weverse. In their statement, the agency stated, “We apologize to our fans for the issues caused by the inappropriate behavior of a security personnel who was responsible for ensuring BOYNEXTDOOR’s safety on December 16 at the Qingdao airport.”

“We apologized separately to the person who was directly harmed, and for the sake of aftercare, we are currently asking them about their mental and physical health, as well as whether there was any damage to their belongings. We have taken measures to ensure that the security personnel in question is not assigned to our artist onsite in the future. We will do everything possible to strengthen guidance and education of our security personnel so that this problem does not reoccur in the future,” the agency said.

Recently, a video of one of BOYNEXTDOOR’s bodyguards pushing a fan at the airport went viral and drew negative attention online.
