BTS members Jimin and Jungkook will begin their mandatory military service Tuesday, ushering a hiatus for all seven BTS members.

Jimin and Jungkook will enter the same military recruit training camp of the Army in Gyeonggi Province before working as active-duty soldiers.

On Monday, Jimin shared via Weverse, “I will be back soon. I should go soon so that we can be together soon. I think I will rely on Jungkook a lot because we are enlisting together.”

On December 8, Jungkook said, “I had a really busy life. Thanks to you, I worked happily.”

One day before Jimin and Jungkook’s enlistment, two fellow BTS members RM and V enlisted at a different camp.

With the moves, all seven members of the group will be on hiatus to fulfill their military duty.
