BTS’ RM, V to enlist today

BTS members RM and V will enlist on Monday.

The two members will enter the Nonsan Army Training Center in South Chungcheong Province. V is known to have applied for the special mission unit of the Army Capital Defense Command.

RM personally shared his thought about enlistment. “The day has finally come. I was so happy to live as a member of BTS for the past 10 years. I’ve always said this, but the end is also a beginning. I truly believe that something good awaits us after this,” he said. “I believe these 18 months, whether long or short, will be a time of strange and new inspiration and learning for all of us.”

On December 5, V shared, “Those friends who will be enlisting may be younger than me, but I will be able to earn something new by talking with them.”

Meanwhile, following the enlistment of RM and V on Monday, Jimin and Jungkook will also enlist together. All seven members of BTS will have commenced their military duty.
