Disney-owned Pixar Animation Studios’ “Elemental” has drawn over 7 million moviegoers in the local box office.
“Elemental” has garnered a cumulative audience of 7.01 million as of Sunday since its release on June 14, according to the data compiled by the Korean Film Council (KOFIX).
It has become the most-viewed foreign film this year in South Korea, and the second animated film attracting over 7 million moviegoers in the country following Disney’s “Frozen II” released in 2023.
“Elemental” tells a heartwarming story featuring four elements – fire, water, land and air – living in a bustling bayside city connected by bridges.
