BTS member Suga has shared his opinion about releasing his solo album “D-DAY”.
On April 24, Suga expressed his feelings about the release of “D-DAY”, which was released on April 1 under the activity name August D, and his feelings ahead of the world tour.
“‘D-DAY’ is the last of a three-part album I’ve released under the name of August D. Like all the music I’ve made so far, the album is made of honest stories. I filled the album with stories I wanted to convey. I hope you enjoy it,” Suga said.
“The album is consisted of 10 songs. If you listen to it slowly in the order of tracks, you will know why I placed the tracks in such order,” he said. “The main theme is ‘I want everyone to focus on the present. I want you to focus on yourself. We hear lots of thoughts and stories of other people these days. So I tell them to stop listening to what others think and pay attention to yourself,” he said.
Starting with Belmont Park in the U.S. on April 26, Suga will hold a world tour in the US, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, Singapore before coming home. “I’m practicing steadily with ease,” he said. “I feel more at ease than ever. I’m excited to meet my fans, but I’m not nervous.”
