Red Velvet reveals SMCU’s first comics content

Red Velvet has revealed SMCU’s first comics content ahead of their comeback.

On November 9, Red Velvet revealed “SMCU : Red Velvet – The Story of ReVE” on the official social media channel. It is a content that presents a behind-the-scene story of the birth and growth of ‘ReVe’, a helper in Red Velvet’s imaginary world, in a lyrical and lovely cartoon.

This content is the first comic content of SM Culture Universe (SMCU), which SM presents as a core value and vision of future entertainment.

Kim Aromi, who wrote the “Brown & Friends” storybook series and various storybooks, took part in story production. D D Kang, who worked as an art director for Nexon and in charge of planning for Nickelodean Random Cartoons in the United States, also joined for making the story.

The new episodes will be revealed midnight on November 10-11 through Red Velvet’s official Instagram.

Meanwhile, Red Velvet will release their upcoming mini album “The ReVe Festival 2022 – Birthday” on November 28.
