“Emergency Declaration” hits 2 million viewers, Im Si-wan, Song Kang-ho, Lee Byung-hun thank audience

“Emergency Declaration” has hit 2 million moviegoers, and the cast of the film thanked audiences for the support.

On August 21, actors Song Kang-ho, Lee Byung-hun, Im Si-wan, and Kim So-jin expressed gratitude to the audience via distributing agency Showbox, saying, “We love you. Declaration of 2 million moviegoers. Thank you.”

According to the Korean Film Council, the film officially surpassed 2 million moviegoers on August 20, just 18 days into its release.

“Emergency Declaration” is a disaster film about the unprecedented calamities that arise when a terrorist threat is made against an impending flight. It is directed by Han Jae-rim.
