BTS has received platinum and gold certifications from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) for its four songs.

According to the RIAJ, “Fake Love”, the title track of BTS’s “Love Yourself: Tear” released in May 2018, has officially been certified platinum after reaching 100 million streams in April in Japan.

Additionally, BTS’s “Answer: Love Myself,” “Mikrokosmos,” and “I NEED U” have all received gold certifications after surpassing 50 million streams.

The RIAK announces a series of official certifications on its website every month. It has a new system, where songs are certified silver once they reach 30 million streams, gold at 50 million streams, and platinum at 100 million streams.
