Kim Woo-bin to return to small screen with “Our Blues”

Actor Kim Woo-bin will be returning to small screen with “Our Blues” after a hiatus of 6 years. 

tvN’s upcoming weekend drama “Our Blues” is an omnibus-style drama set in Jeju Island, which will tell life stories of a diverse array of characters. It is written by Noh Hee-kyung of “Live,” “Dear My Friends,” and “It’s Okay, That’s Love.”

Kim Woo-bin will play Park Jung-joon, a warm-hearted ship captain who stays at Jeju to protect his hometown and his family although everyone else heads to Seoul. His dreams is to live in Jeju with the woman he loves. He is a romantic man who lives by the beach in a remodeled bus that looks like café.

The newly released still images show Park Jung-joon’s daily life as a captain. He goes fishing and gives ship rides to haeneyo, or female divers. He also selss fish at the auction house and market. 

“Our Blues” is set to premiere on April 9 at 9:10 pm.
