Lee Min-ho, Gong Hyo-jin to star in new romantic comedy

Actor Lee Min-ho and actress Gong Hyo-jin will star in the upcoming drama “Ask the Stars” (literal translation).

The drama is a new romantic comedy set in space. It will be directed by Park Shin-woo of “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” and “Lovestruck in the City”, and written by Seo Sook-hyang of “Don’t Dare to Dream” and “Pasta.”

“Ask the Stars” is about an astronaut and a tourist who meet and fall in love at a space station. Lee Min-ho will play male lead Gong Ryong, an obstetrician-genecologist with a strong sense of responsibility who arrives at a space station as a tourist. Gong Hyo-jin will take the role of Korean-American astronaut Eve Kim.

It is set to premiere in 2023.
