Seo Ye-ji apologies for controversy with ex-boyfriend ahead of drama comeback

Actress Seo Ye-ji has issued a formal apology ahead of her comeback to small screens with tvN drama “Eve” (literal title).

On February 27, Seo Ye-ji released an apology regarding the controversy, and said, “First, I sincerely apologize for the fact that I’m delivering my feelings so late through these written words.”

“I have been taking time to reflect on myself seeing all of the reproach and the things you have told me. I would like to sincerely apology for making many people uncomfortable due to my shortcomings. I once again bow my head and apologize for disappointing you so much.”

“All the things came from my immaturity, and I will behave more carefully in the future and show you a more mature version of myself,” she added.

Last year, Seo Ye-ji came under fire after a report revealed text messages between the actress and her then-boyfriend Kim Jung-hyun. The report alleged that Seo Ye-ji had ordered Kim to request that the script of his drama “Time” be modified to remove physical contact between him and female lead Seohyun of Girls’ Generation.

Seo Ye-ji is currently preparing to return to the small screen in the upcoming tvN drama “Eve”.
