Yoo Jae-suk wins grand prize at 2021 MBC Entertainment Awards

Yoo Jae-suk took home this year’s Grand Prize at the 2021 MBC Entertainment Awards.

On December 29, MBC’s annual year-end celebration of its greatest achievements in variety programming and entertainment was held at MBC Open Hall in Seoul. Yoo Jae-suk won the grand prize for 2 years in a row through the program “Hang Out With You.” He won his 8th grand prize at MBC, starting from 2006 to 2021.

“I have received another undeserved honor,” Yoo said expressing his gratitude to the public, viewers and the production staffs of the program. “Many people are having a tough time with COVID-19 and I feel more responsibilities as a comedian at times like this,” he said. “I will try to make them laugh with many colleagues as an entertainer until the day I cannot hold it any longer.”
