So Ji-sub confirmed to star in MBC’s “Doctor Lawyer”

Actor So Ji-sub will be returning to small screens with MBC’s upcoming drama. This is his first starring in a drama since his last drama “My Secret Terrius” (also known as “Terius Behind Me”) in 2018.

On July 5, MBC revealed that a medical suspense courtroom drama entitled “Doctor Lawyer” (literal title) will be aired in the first half of this year, and that So Ji-sub will take the lead.

“Doctor Lawyer” is a heart-warming drama about a genius surgeon named Han Yi-han, who becomes a medical malpractice lawyer after losing everything from a fabricated surgery. So Ji-sub will take the role of Han Yi-han.

The drama will be written by Jang Hong-chul of “Mr. Temporary” and directed by Lee Yong-seok from “Iljimae.”
