Actor Jang Ki-yong denied dating rumors with former Olympic gymnast Son Yeon-jae.

On May 28, Jang Ki-yong’s agency YG Entertainment issued a statement, saying, “Jang Ki-yong and Son Yeon-jae do not know each other. The photo of the beach was taken in Busan while Jang Ki-yong was there filming for his drama ‘Now, We Are Breaking Up’.”

Earlier, dating rumors between the two stars rose after some netizens accused them of posting similar photos. Both Jang Ki-yong and Son Yeon-jae uploaded photos of a seaside view of the beaches of Busan on Instagram on April 25.

Meanwhile, Jang Ki-yong is currently appearing in tvN’s Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘My Roommate is a Gumiho’, which premiered on May 26.
