IU shares her thought about working with Yeo Jin-goo for “Hotel del Luna” ith Yeo Jin-goo

IU showed off her chemistry with actor Yeo Jin-goo.

On July 8, a production conference for tvN’s new weekend drama “Hotel del Luna” was held at Imperial Palace in Seoul, with actors IU (Lee Ji-eun), Yeo Jin-goo, Shin Jung-eun, Bae Hae-sun, Pyo Ji-hoon, and Kang Mi-na, as well as director Oh Choong-hwan in attendance.

IU, who took the role of hotel owner Jang Man-wol, said, “After my casting, I heard that Yeo Jin-goo had been cast. I was really happy. I thought he suited the role of Chang-sung very well.”

“He came very well prepared for the first script reading. I thought I should also practice hard,” she said. “After Yeo Jin-goo was cast, everything started to work out well on set. I think he’s our lucky charm.”

“Hotel del Luna” is about elite hotelier Goo Chan-sung (Yeo Jin-goo) who finds himself in charge of the Hotel del Luna with the beautiful but hot-tempered hotel owner Jang Man-wol (IU). It premieres on July 13 at 9 pm.
