Wooshin and Jeon So-mi respond to physical contact controversy

UP10TION's Woohin has been embroiled in controversy for touching I.O.I member Jeon So-mi's breasts.

On December 24, a video was posted by SBS MTV's "The Show" on Twitter where MCs Jeon So-mi and Wooshin delivered a Christmas message. The controversy began when it appeared to some people that Wooshin had touched Jeon So-mi's chest area in the video.

"The Show" released a statement and said, "The filming was conducted while the manager was watching. After checking once again with Jeon So-mi, Wooshin, and the manager about the video, it's been confirmed that there was no such physical contact."

Wooshin's agency TOP Entertainment released the same statement and said, "We have confirmed that she was not surprised or made uncomfortable by such actions during filming. Wooshin has promised that as a public figure he will be more careful not to cause such misunderstandings again."

Jeon So-mi's agency also responded to the controversy, saying, "Jeon So-mi expressed concerns and worries over such assumptions being made. We would like to once again state that the accusations being made are not true."
