Red Velvet will be coming back with a ballad for this spring.

Red Velvet will release their second mini album "The Velvet" on March 16 at midnight through various music sites including Melon, Genie, and Naver Music.

The title track, "July 7th" (Korean title) or "One of These Nights" (English title), is an R&B ballad combined of beautiful orchestra with modern rhythm and dreamy piano sounds. The song is inspired from a fairytale, with a girl looking back the time in her past with her lover, hoping for the day she can meet him again.

The group will kick off their comeback stage with Mnet's "M! Countdown" on the 17th and continue on KBS' "Music Bank" on the 18th, MBC's "Show! Music Core" on the 19th, and SBS' "Inkigayo" on the 20th.

Along with this, Red Velvet released a teaser poster featuring Joy on the 11th through its official website, Vyrl, SMTOWN account, official Facebook page, following a teaser image featuring Seulgi on the 10th.
