By Rinmi Yangya, India student correspondent, Asia Today - Jawaharlal Nehru University is no exception. With Delhi facing electricity and water crisis for quite a few days now, finally hit the campus with hundreds of students who all are nearing their Mid-semester examination.
It has been a day or two that campus students have been bearing with insufficient water problem and they are left with no option but to wake up early and rush for water.
As the saying goes like "Early bird gets the prey", those who wake up late get little or no water. To the worse, electricity was cut off 22 around mid-noon 1pm and went until it came back on its track at around midnight 1:30 am.

During those hours since library being the only bright place, students rushed to it. Far from any hope of getting an empty seat, students rushed for any place where they can settle themselves and study.
Some sat on floor, there at uncomfortable place trying to be as comfortable it can be. Some silently cursing being so stressed by examination at door and the absence of electricity, others busy flipping pages and while others waited outside the library door hoping for a seat. It's all about survival of the fastest.
