Girls‘ Generation wins triple crown with “Lion Heart”

Girls' Generation achieved the triple crown by topping on this week's Inkigayo.


On the September 13th episode of SBS' Inkigayo hosted by Kim Yoo-jung, Jackson, and Yook Sung-jae, Girls' Generation performed their title track "Lion Heart."


On the show, the group competed against HyunA and BIGBANG.


After the winner announcement, Girls' Generation said, "It's the last broadcast of 'Lion Heart' today, and we are able to wrap up happily thanks to our fans. Thank you for your love."


Previously, Girls' Generation topped twelve times in total with "Lion Heart" on music shows, including SBS MTV's "The Show", MBC Music's "Show! Champion", Mnet's "M!Countdown", SBS' "Inkigayo", and MBC's "Show Music Core", proving its strong presence among K-pop stars.


Meanwhile, other performers on this week's Inkigayo include Jun Jin, Red Velvet, Monsta X, HyunA, Sonamoo, 6 to 8, Kangnam, and more.
