Shin So-yul confirmed to star as Kang Dong-won‘s girlfriend in “A Violent Prosecutor”

Actress Shin So-yul has been confirmed to star as the only woman in upcoming movie "A Violent Prosecutor."

On June 9, Shin So-yul's agency Family Actors stated, "Shin So-yul has been cast as the only woman 'Hana' in 'A Violent Prosecutor.'"

"A Violent Prosecutor" is about a prosecutor who has been falsely charged with murder. He meets a trickster in jail and the two work together towards clearing the prosecutor's false charge.

Shin So-yul will play Hana, a woman who is grown up in a wealthy family and the girlfriend of trickster Chiwon (played by Kang Dong-won).

Meanwhile, "A Violent Prosecutor" is directed by Lee Il-hyung, who was the assistant director of 'Kundo: Age of the Rampant'. The movie cranked in on May 18.
