Singer IU released her self-written song "Heart".

On May 18, IU released her digital single "Heart". IU's self-written song "Heart" is revealed to be the last song from the second episode of her drama "Producer". The song topped music charts immediately after release, garnering a lot of attention.

"Heart" is not a part of the official soundtrack of "Producer", and is intended to be a surprise gift from IU for her fans. It was said that IU wanted to show her gratitude towards her fans for celebrating her birthday on May 16 and supporting her for her drama "Producer".

This comes after IU gave her fans a hint for a gift on May 17 by posting a picture of herself on her Instagram and wrote, "The end of my birthday! Thank you. I will give you a gift tomorrow at this time."

Previously, IU's fans presented her the 'IU Forest' at Yeouido, Seoul, in celebration of her birthday.
