Upcoming movie "Oppa's Thought" (literal translation) has confirmed to cast ZE:A's Im Si-wan.
The film is inspired by the story of a children's choir that actually existed during the Korean War. Set during the Korean War in the early 1950s, the movie will tell a story of a beautiful miracle of some children who lost everything and a soldier who wants to save them in the middle of a battlefield. It will be one of the major pieces coming out this year.
Lee Han, who captivated the audiences with cheerful laughter and delicate sense with "Punch" and "Elegant Lies", will be taking charge of directing for this movie with a heartwarming story and music.
Im Si-wan has been chosen to play the male lead Han Sang-ryul. After receiving high praise for his acting in his big screen debut film "The Attorney" as well as hit drama "Misaeng", Im Si-wan chose "Oppa's Thought" as his next project.
He will be playing a young choir leader named Han Sang-ryul, who gradually becomes mature and humane after meeting the children in the choir.
