Eric Nam reveals he wanted to quit being a celebrity

Eric Nam revealed that he wanted to give up being a celebrity when he went through depression.


On the June 16th episode of tvN's "My Father and Me", Eric Nam talked about his father. He said, "My father lives life to the full." He said, "My father immigrated to the United States 30 years ago. I started thinking about how much courage you would need back then to take such big step."


He continued, "There was a time I wanted to give up being a singer, and go back to the way it was. I had depression, too. I talked with my dad while crying, saying that I wanted to give up. But my father went through hardships, too, and I didn't want to let him down."


Meanwhile, "My Father and Me" airs every Thursday at 11 pm.
