BIGBANG's Seungri has filed a lawsuit against female singer for fraud.

On January 4, Channel A reported, "BIGBANG's Seungri filed a lawsuit against female singer, Ms. Shin, to the police."

Back in June 2014, Ms. Shin suggested to Seungri that he make an investment in her real estate venture. After receiving 2 billion won from Seungri, she concealed herself. Seungri has not received any money back from his investment, and therefore filed a lawsuit against the singer in the end of last year.

The female singer debuted in 2003 and released two albums. She formerly ran her own management agency, which closed last year.

Seungri's agency YG Entertainment said, "Although Seungri's lawsuit was being filed as an individual, the agency will be taking joint action in this matter."
