Girl group Dal Shabet's members Jiyul and Gaeun will be leaving the group for solo activities as their contracts with their agency have expired.

On December 8, Dal Shabet's management agency Happy Face Entertainment stated on Tuesday, "Dal Shabet members Jiyul and Gaeun will end their group activities as their contracts with the agency will end in the end of December. They will begin solo activities."

The agency continued, "We have shared a lot of discussions with Jiyul and Gaeun, and made this decision for their dreams and development. From now on, Jiyul plans to go down a path as an actress while Gaeun plans to go down a path of fashion and style, where she has been interested in. Please give a lot of support and encouragement to Jiyul and Gaeun who will make a new start."

The agency added, "Jiyul and Gaeun will end their official activities as Dal Shabet by this month. Since then, Dal Shabet will be promoting as a four-member group with Seri, Ahyoung, Woohee, and Subin, and will have a comeback in January."
