Nam Sang-mi welcomes first daughter

Actress Nam Sang-mi has given birth to a healthy baby girl.

On November 13, her agency JR Ent announced, "There is a happy news we would like to share. Actress Nam Sang-mi gave birth to a daughter at a hospital in Seoul on the evening of November 12. Both the mother and the child are healthy, and they are currently focusing on recovery."

The actress shared her thoughts on becoming a mother through the statement, "I'm very happy and thankful to be joined by a new family member. I would like to thank everyone who prayed for a healthy delivery and supported us."

"I will do my best to live happily with my family, as well as maintain my responsibility as an actress."

Meanwhile, Nam Sang-mi tied the knot in January 2015 with a non-celebrity entrepreneur.
