Celebrity chef Baek Jong-won will be leaving "My Little Television" temporarily.

On July 26, the production team of MBC's "My Little Television" said, "In deference to the decision of Baek Jong-won, we have decided that he will not be present in this week's live streaming recording. His absence will be temporary, and it is not a permanent withdrawal."

Baek Jong-won's temporary withdrawal is speculated to be due to a heavy psychological burden that pressed down on him as malicious comments towards his family have been growing. His father Baek Seung-tak, a former minister of education in Choongnam province, was alleged to have sexually harassed a female caddie at a golf course last month.

"My Little Television" PD Park Jin-kyung has previously said, "As our cast face malicious comments in front of a camera, it's very hard to describe the shock they go through. Please we ask the viewers to refrain from writing malicious comments."
