Cheong Wa Dae stated on the 24th, regarding President Lee Jae-myung's state affairs approval rating hitting a new low since taking office in a Realmeter survey, "We will place the lives of the public as the top priority of state affairs and thoroughly review overall state management." As the approval rating fell to the low 40% range, producing tangible results in public livelihoods and the economy appears to have emerged as a core task for Cheong Wa Dae to regain governing momentum.

Kang Yu-jung, Senior Presidential Spokesperson, gave this response when asked by reporters at Chunchugwan that afternoon about the position on the decline in President Lee's approval rating.

Senior Spokesperson Kang said, "We will show our utmost efforts to create practical results so that these efforts and changes can be felt across public livelihoods and economic fields."

According to the survey announced on this day, conducted by Realmeter from the 18th to the 21st at the request of Energy Economy Newspaper among 2,026 eligible voters aged 18 and older nationwide, positive assessment of President Lee's state administration stood at 40.2%. This marks the lowest level since taking office.

Meanwhile, this survey was conducted via automated response using 100% wireless random digit dialing. The response rate for the presidential state administration assessment survey was 3.2%, and the margin of error was plus or minus 2.2 percentage points at the 95% confidence level.
