Doosan Enerbility is expanding its footprint in the global nuclear power plant market by teaming up with a domestic partner to deploy its generator diagnostic solution.

Doosan Enerbility announced on July 6 that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Createch, a specialized vibration and noise engineering company, at Createch’s plant in Ulsan to celebrate and cooperate on the global expansion of the B-EYES system.

B-EYES is a real-time monitoring system designed to measure the current, temperature, vibration, and wear of brushes—the critical components that transfer electrical current to a generator's rotor shaft. By detecting early signs of abnormalities, the system prevents equipment failures. Its automated, unmanned continuous monitoring approach delivers higher operational reliability and plant safety compared to conventional manual inspections.

Under the agreement, the two companies will formalize a comprehensive framework covering the production, maintenance, after-sales service, and technical cooperation for B-EYES. They also plan to lay the groundwork for long-term supply agreements and service partnerships.

Doosan Enerbility recently secured a contract to supply the B-EYES system for a generator replacement project at Units 1 and 2 of the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant in the Czech Republic. Leveraging this track record, the company aims to aggressively market its generator diagnostic solution to both domestic and international power plants, including nuclear and thermal facilities.

"This agreement marks a significant step forward in commercializing a generator diagnostic technology developed jointly with a domestic partner," said Son Seung-woo, Head of Power Service Business Group at Doosan Enerbility. "We will demonstrate our technical competitiveness through the Temelín project and expand our generator diagnostic and service solution business to domestic utilities and global markets alike."
