Sunmi achieves all-kill with “LALALAY”

Sunmi achieved a perfect all-kill with new single “LALALAY”, demonstrating her music power as a K-pop diva.

As of August 28 at 8 am, Sunmi’s “LALALAY” won No. 1 on eight music charts, including Melon, Genie, Bugs, Mnet, Naver Music, Olleh, Monkey3, and Soribada.

Through her agency MAKEUS Entertainment, Sunmi said, “It’s incredible how this grateful thing happens every time. Such fruitful result was possible thanks to those who believe in me and love me. I will make better music to repay you.”

“LALALAY” is an old Korean homonym used when referring to a “rebellious, playful punk.” It is also an old name for a traditional Korean wind instrumental also known as taepyeongso.
