TWICE tops charts with “FANCY”

TWICE’s “FANCY” continues to dominate music charts.

On April 22 at 6 p.m. KST, TWICE released their seventh mini album “FANCY YOU” along with its title track “FANCY.” Soon after its release, the album topped real-time charts on Melon and other charts. As of April 24 at 8 a.m. KST, the track is topping on 5 real-time music charts, including Mnet, Naver Music, Soribada, Bugs, and Monkey3.

“FANCY YOU” topped iTunes album charts in at least 25 countries including Singapore, Thailand, Greece, Germany, Brazil, and Mexico. The title track “FANCY” also topped iTunes song charts in at least 8 countries including Hong Kong and Vietnam.

“FANCY” is a mellow mood pop dance song that blends a trendy feel with elegant flute sound. The song is composed and written by Black Eyed Pilseung and Jeon Goon, who have also taken charge for TWICE’s previous songs such as “OOH-AHH,” “CHEER UP,” “TT,” and “LIKEY.”
