Kang Daniel, LM Entertainment in dispute over ownership of social media accounts

Former Wanna One member Kang Daniel is reportedly in dispute with his agency LM Entertainment over his exclusive contract.

Previously, a media outlet reported Sunday that Kang Daniel is planning to leave his agency to terminate his exclusive contract. According to the report, he was able to meet up with Seungri, who introduced him with a Hong Kong woman in her 40’s. This woman is meeting with various potential investors to lure Kang Daniel away from LM Entertainment.

LM Entertainment said the story regarding Kang Daniel’s contract had been made out of a “misunderstanding between the company and the artist.” It added that it would do its best to reach an agreement with Kang through active communication.

Later in the day, Kang Daniel spoke up regarding the issue through his official fan café. He said he is currently “in dispute with” his agency, and multiple requests to hand over his social media accounts to him have been denied.
