Samuel Kim talks about disappointment of not being able to join Wanna One

Produce 101 Season 2 participant Samuel Kim talked about his thought about not being able to join Wanna One as a member.

On August 2, Samuel held a showcase for his debut mini album "SIXTEEN" at Ilji Art Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

He shared, "I was expecting to make it into the final group of Produce 101 Season 2, but I was disappointed when I didn't make it. After the final stage, I said goodbye to producers and writers and went home. I cried in the shower because of the hard work I put into it. But I didn't give up my dream as a singer. When I went to school, my friends asked me why I didn't make it. I think it was because I was lacking. My friends gave me support and I got so much strength from them."

Meanwhile, Samuel Kim released his debut album "SIXTEEN" on August 2.
