After Taeyeon fell off stage at the '24th Seoul Music Awards' on January 22, her agency SM Entertainment stated that Taeyeon did not suffer any serious injury.

On January 23, SM Entertainment told AsiaToday, "After the accident, she was immediately sent to a hospital and received thorough medical checkup. Fortunately, she did not suffer any serious injury, but there was some shock to her back muscle. So she received treatment and then went home. We will consistently check Taeyeon's condition so that she doesn't overdo herself."

Previously, Taeyeon attended the 24th Seoul Music Awards held at the Seoul Olympic Park's Gymnastics Stadium, representing TaeTiSeo. However, at this event, she had fallen off stage after performing 'Holler' due to a lift having been lowered abruptly. Seohyun, who was next to Taeyeon, almost lost her balance, but fortunately avoided accident.
 
Meanwhile, Girls' Generation's subunit group TaeTiSeo won the Main Award at the 24th Seoul Music Awards.
