Jang Geun-suk revealed to have purchased a building worth 20 billion KRW

It has been reported that actor Jang Geun-suk, who has been embroiled in tax controversy, purchased a building worth 20 billion KRW.

It was revealed that the actor purchased the building with three underground floors and six above ground floors located in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul in January for 21.3 billion KRW.

Jang Geun-suk's side told multiple media outlets, "It's true that he purchased the building, but it has nothing to do with the tax controversy. He took out large loans for the purchase, and it is not related with the tax issue. We don't want there to be any misunderstanding."

Meanwhile, Jang Geun-suk has been embroiled in the tax controversy due to tax omissions on January 14. Jang's agency said that the issue arose out of an accounting error and Jang completed the payment immediately after revising the error.
