TVXQ has unveiled a new Japanese single, celebrating their 20th anniversary since debuting in Japan.

Released on July 20 via global music platforms, the single titled Tsuki no Ura de Aimashou (月の裏でいましょう), or Let’s Meet on the Far Side of the Moon, reinterprets the city pop stylings of “Original Love” with TVXQ’s signature emotional depth and vocal performance.

The song’s lyrics suggest a miraculous reunion on the “far side of the moon”—a place unseen from anywhere on Earth—symbolizing TVXQ’s commitment to their fans and a fresh chapter in their two-decade-long journey. The track conveys a heartfelt message: no matter the distance, the group remains forever connected to its supporters.

This release follows a landmark year for TVXQ, who set a new record as the foreign act with the most performances at both the Tokyo Dome and domes nationwide in Japan, achieving 33 shows at Tokyo Dome and 92 total dome concerts through their 20th-anniversary tour.

Fan events are also planned for November in Tokyo and Hyogo to continue the celebration.

TVXQ will also appear at “SMTOWN LIVE 2025” in Tokyo Dome on August 9–10.
