Late Wheesung’s family to donate condolence money

The family of the late Wheesung has decided to donate the condolence money collected at his funeral.

On March 17, Wheesung’s younger brother revealed that they plan to use all the condolence money received during his funeral in a way that can positively impact society, in the name of singer Wheesung. He added that they would consult with relevant experts about how to proceed and expressed deep gratitude, saying, “We sincerely thank everyone who remembered and visited my brother.”

"I was greatly comforted by the words that my brother’s music brought happiness and strength to people's lives. I sincerely hope that my brother's works, which came into the light of the world, will never be forgotten and that our family will cherish them forever," the brother said.

Wheesung was found deceased at his residence on March 10, and his funeral was held from March 14 to 16. The police have requested an autopsy from the National Forensic Service, which provided an initial verbal opinion stating that the cause of death is unknown. The results of the second detailed examination are expected to take over two weeks.
