The upcoming horror film Noise, starring Lee Sun-bin and Kim Min-seok, has been pre-sold to 117 countries ahead of its official release.
According to distributor By4M Studio on June 11, the film will premiere in South Korea on June 25 and will roll out sequentially in countries including Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, France, and Russia.
Directed by Kim Su-jin, Noise tells the eerie story of Joo-young (played by Lee Sun-bin), who searches for her missing sister in an apartment complex plagued by constant, nerve-wracking noise from upstairs neighbors. As she delves deeper into the mystery, bizarre and terrifying events unfold.
Before its public release, the film was invited to the prestigious Sitges Film Festival last year, where it was hailed as “the biggest surprise of the year” and praised for “delivering something entirely new in a chilling atmosphere.”
