Director Jang Jae-hyun’s supernatural thriller “Exhuma” topped 5 million cumulative viewers in 10 days since its release.

According to the Showbox on Saturday, the film has drawn 5 million moviegoers four days faster than last year’s best-performing movie “12.12: The Day,” which gathered over 10 million admissions.

Starring Choi Min-sik, Kim Go-eun, Yoo Hae-jin, and Lee Do-hyun, the film follows two shamans, a feng shui expert and a mortician, who team up to get to the bottom of a series of mysterious events occurring to a wealthy family by exhuming its ancestor’s grave in a remote Korean village. The film is directed by Jang Jae-hyun.
